-I was born in Thessaloniki in 1963.
-I graduated from the German School of Thessaloniki in 1981.
-I completed my studies at the Department of German Language and Literature of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1987.
-I have been working as a journalist since 1996.
-I have worked and continue to work as a correspondent of German magazines, such as «Kicker» (Nürnberg) and «Griechenland-Zeitung» (Athens).
-I have worked in the past for various Greek newspapers, such as «Eleftherotypia» (Athens) and as a reporter for TV Station ERT 3 in Thessaloniki.
-I was political editor in the local newspaper «Aggelioforos» in Thessaloniki (1997-2013) and in the newspaper «Demokratia» (2012-2017).
-Since 2018 I am political editor in the local newspaper «Macedonia of Sunday» and on the website of the group «emakedonia.gr»
-Since 2024 I have made political commentary on TV100 and FM100 and I present on TV100 the weekly informative program «Periplaniseis»
-I have worked for long periods as a press advisor at the Municipality of Pylea-Chortiatis as well as in the Press and Public Relations Office of the Prefecture of Central Makedonia
-Since 1999 I have been a member of the Union of Journalists of Macedonia Thrace (ΕΣΗΕΜΘ). For 6 years I have served as a member of the Primary Council of the Association.
-Since 2012 I am president of the Alumni Association of the German School of Thessaloniki.
-I am married to Zaphiria Arabatzi and have two children, Benjamin and Xeni.
