Stathis Konstantinidis, Deputy Minister of the Interior (sector of Macedonia and Thrace), born in 1969 in Alexandroupoli, is a member of the Greek Parliament in the region of Kozani since 2019, recently re – elected in the national elections of May 2023 and June 2023.
He is a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Greece, practicing criminal law since 1996. He graduated from the Democritus Law School and holds a doctorate in Law from the Department of Criminal and Criminological Sciences.
He has served the Social Affairs Public System of Greece from various administrative positions.
During his parliamentary period, he was Secretary to the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, member of the Special Permanent Committee on Greeks Abroad and the Special Permanent Committee on monitoring the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.
He served as vice-chairman of the communications privacy Investigation Committee. He took part in parliamentary missions in the Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden and Uruguay on immigration issues, while participating in corresponding transnational or international collaborations in Greece with foreign missions.
He is married to Paschalina Mastrogriannopoulou, lawyer and have two children. He is socially active as a member of several associations – blood donor – member of the Association of Letters and Arts of Kozani and the Thracian Home of Eordaia.
